Happy 8/11 Day! Avoiding potential catastrophes while digging is as simple as contacting 811 before you dig! Whether you’re a homeowner or a professional, it’s crucial to contact 811 a few days in advance to have underground utilities marked. Stay safe this summer!

National Work Zone Awareness Week is April 21-25.

This week reminds motorists to be careful around those whose jobs put them along the roadways. 

Indiana law requires motorists to approach cautiously and change lanes away from emergency vehicles if they can do so safely. If not, they should reduce their speed to 10 mph under the posted speed limit and proceed with caution. Motorists should not stop in the roadway; this may cause a rear-end collision with other vehicles.
