Distributed Generation (DG)

Energy Credits

A DG energy credit will be applied for each excess kWh generated and delivered to the Cooperative each month at the rates listed below.  All other energy, demand, power cost adjustment, and minimum monthly charges remain the member’s responsibility under the applicable rate schedule.

On-Peak Credit**: $0.130/kWh
(5:00 – 8:00 pm, Monday - Friday)


Off-Peak Credit*: $0.05475/kWh
(12:00 am – 4:59 pm and 8:01 pm – 11:59 pm) 
 

*Includes weekends and the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

**Excludes weekends and the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. ​

Availability

  1. Available to any member located on the cooperative's lines.
  2. DG can be installed on single-phase or three-phase services. 
  3. DG must be from a renewable generation source.
  4. Members must comply with the Cooperative's Distributed Generation requirements.

Type Of Service

Alternating current, 60-cycle, single-phase or three-phase service at voltages offered for service by the Cooperative.
