As part of Wabash Valley Power's ENERGY STAR Clothes Washer Rebate Program, Hendricks Power Cooperative is offering a $50 rebate to members who replace an existing clothes washer or make a first-time clothes washer purchase. Applicants must be members of Hendricks Power Cooperative; purchase an ENERGY STAR qualified unit on or after April 15, 2010; and utilize an electric water heater in the home where the clothes washer will be used. The new clothes washer must be installed and operable in the applicant's owner-occupied residence located in the cooperative's service territory.
