Tour

High school juniors have a chance to join other Indiana youth on a trip of a lifetime.  Applications are now available for the 2010 Electric Cooperative Youth Tour to Washington, D.C. 

Indiana’s Touchstone Energy cooperatives have hosted the Youth Tour since 1960, providing hundreds of young Hoosiers the opportunity to visit our nation’s capital and learn about the federal government and the cooperative utility industry. The trip begins on June 10, 2010 in Indianapolis and ends on June 17, 2010.

Hendricks Power Cooperative will cover travel expenses to and from Washington D.C. - departing from and returning to Indianapolis. Also included are meals, lodging and scheduled event fees. Participants will be responsible for other necessary travel arrangements and incidental expenses they may incur.

We, at Hendricks Power, are proud to sponsor this educational program as part of a continuous effort to support and stay actively involved in the communities we serve. We hope that this program helps develop young professionals who are vital in building our future.
