Customer Payback

This unique plan gives commercial and industrial customers of Hendricks Power Cooperative the opportunity to reduce their electric costs by voluntarily cutting back on their electric consumption during peak demand periods. Participating businesses are then paid back for every kilowatt-hour they reduce their overall electric load.

By voluntarily curtailing power consumption during these peak periods, Hendricks Power is able to avoid paying high prices for power on the wholesale market. This keeps our expenses down and rates low.
